Aaron Nelson - with the Bomber starting staff in complete disarray back in June, they were scrambling to find arms that could consistently go on out day in and day out, Nelson is starting to find himself.
Coming out of spring training Nelson was relegated to the bullpen where he was on the verge of being sent to AAA.  On June 27th, with an ERA of 8.51 Nelson was moved into the starting staff.  Twice he's broken the 7.00 ERA barrier, but has really started to turn it around.  On August 18th, after suffering a battering by the Maple squad, he saw his record fall to 2-10, and an ERA of 7.52  Since that day he's kicked it up a notch and in 5 starts has a 3-1 record and seen his ERA drop over a run and a half.  6.01 isn't spectacular by any stretch of the imagination, but at 24 years old, he might be finding himself.

The Bombers seem to have some arms with a projection a few years down the road could have a very formidable rotation.  In addition to Nelson, there's Cecil Gibbons (21 years old), Dave Nicholson (24), Jeremy Rogers (25), and in AA 18 year old Emerson Webber.

Now, if we can only find an ABL Ready SP or infielder in the draft....
