2015 Winding Down

Well, with just 13 games to go, South Carolina is on the brink of being eliminated from post season contention.  While this doesn't seem like something to brag about, there is an aire of excitement in the South Carolina fan base.  This is because of the season put together by the Bombers, when compared to seasons past.

The Bombers are sitting at 69-80.  This has tied the franchise record for Wins in a season.  Needing just one more win to reach the 70+ win plateau for the first time seems like a sure thing.

Attendance at 2.7M is now the 2nd highest attendance total in South Carolina history (2013, 3.1M).
Team ERA at 4.62 is projected to be the lowest in franchise history (2013, 4.90).
Team AVG at 2.66 is projected to be the highest in franchise history (2014, .257).

Orlando Bustamante is having an MVP Caliber season.  Not sure if he has enough numbers to win it, but he's 2nd in TML in Batting Average (.325), and tied for 2nd in HR's (40) just one behind the leader.

Bustamante has set franchise records in:
Runs Scored 104
Hits 206
Total Bases 357
Home Runs 40
RBI's 115

And is about to in:
Batting Average, currently .325
Slugging, .563
Singles 138 (team record 139)
Strikeouts 145 (147)

To show how miserable, statistically speaking, this franchise has been, Cal Henry, acquired in the off season, is 2nd in the franchise rankings for saves with 28 (Bob Robinson, 35), which is also a single season record.

now the single season Saves Leader notching 28 so far, and he's now
